Community pushes for technology integration in schools -
A community in Illinois is pushing hard to get technology integration into schools. Voice News reports on a huge effort to get new devices, and new methods of teaching into schools ASAP. This movement is mainly being pushed by the community, and not by local leaders. “the games…they actually help me learn.”
Scholastic to release E-book line -
Education giant, Scholastic, has announced plans to release their own competing version of e-books. This will, hypothetically, compete with Apple’s newly created iBooks Textbooks, and other various online textbook portals.
